A photo illustrating the participation of Archbishop Ian Ernest at an Ecumenical Service commemorating the Holy Martyrs of the Armenian Genocide on Sunday 26^th April 2021 at the Basilica of San Bartolomeo all’Isola, Rome. This time of prayer for peace in the world was presided over by Archbishop Khajag Barsamian, the Representative of the Armenian Apostolic Church to the Holy See,  and the preacher was His Eminence Cardinal Koch, President of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity. The Basilica houses a memorial to the martyrs of the 20^th and 21^st centuries, which was dedicated by Pope St John Paul II in 2000.
