The Anglican Centre has finally resumed its calling to organize courses in Rome for the benefit of those who wish to know more of the life of the Church. This unique place of learning is in the course of this week welcoming participants from different church denominations and countries at a course led by the former Archbishop of Canterbury, Lord Rowan Williams.

The first two sessions held today were profoundly stimulating as it laid emphasis on the unflinching faith of the first Christians in spite of the great suffering they had to endure. Archbishop Rowan has manifested the vast knowledge and passion he has, as he described the life and witness of the first martyrs of Christendom. The interactive part of the lectures was interesting, challenging and thought provoking as it brought into perspective what is essential to Christian living and witness.
