Archbishop Ian Ernest was the guest of a live TV show on Rai 1, Uno Mattina on the 20th of September 2022 to comment on the State Funeral of late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II which was held at Westminster Abbey on the 19^th of September.

He was asked to describe how the liturgy was prepared and what was the impact that this Funeral Service filled with Pageantry, Rituals and Tradition had on the Country and in the world.

 

He laid emphasis during this interview with a famous TV Presenter, Eleonora Daniele, on the witness of the late Queen as a Christian and how the celebration of her life can be a source of hope for the broken world we live in. She was able, according to Archbishop Ian, to bring people of the United Kingdom and of the world to be in communion with each other and this in a moment of profound silence. A moment of great witness of the Christian way of life that will remain down the memory lane of human history.
