On Ascension Day, Archbishop Ian attended an Ecumenical Service at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rome. There were more than twenty members of the clergy from different Christian denominations in attendance. The preacher was the Revd Joylin Galapon, Pastor at the Methodist Church in Rome. The service was presided by Pastor Michael Jonas, of the Lutheran Church in Rome.
