On Sunday 3 October, 2021 the Archbishop of Canterbury and President of the Anglican Centre, the Most Reverend and Right Honourable Justin Welby, visited Rome for an important event to mark the 55th anniversary of the Anglican Centre in Rome. Archbishop Justin unveiled a commemorative plaque dedicated to the memory of Frank and Orietta Pogson Doria Pamphilj, ‘Ecumenical Pioneers and Founding Benefactors of the Anglican Centre in Rome’.
